Higher education weathered the pandemic, but challenges persist. Now our institutions must grapple with a new wave of workplace pressures: “quiet quitting,” the Great Resignation, realignment thinking, and colleagues redefining how, when and why they work.
What does that mean for women in higher education? We are poised to become renaissance leaders as we re-order priorities, reinvest in what matters most, and shift to a new mindset.

Dear Colleagues,
The academic year is in full swing, and many of us are now seeing our campuses come to life as more students, faculty, and staff return to life on campus. While we spend the majority of our time ensuring students and faculty have the tools needed for teaching and learning success, it is important that as higher education leaders we make time for our development and growth.
Our health, wellbeing, and professional success depend on it. While we may have differing career goals and aspirations, we all benefit from professional development, networking, and support from women in higher education.
Making time to grow, learn and connect
The ACE Women’s Network – New Jersey is a learning-centered organization focused on the development and growth of women serving higher education institutions in the State of New Jersey. This year, we have a slate of networking and programming events that will provide our women leaders, and aspiring women leaders with the opportunity to connect with colleagues across the state, as well as learn and hear from women leaders who continue to serve as trailblazers in higher education.
Our conferences, workshops, and events tackle timely issues, explore promising practices, and offer sisterhood. Some of our events are shared below.
