In general, presidential sponsors serve as advisors and mentors to the state chairs and state planning boards. Presidential sponsors assist in many ways, including nominating women to provide leadership of the state network, attending regional and national leadership events, and providing moral support/professional guidance. They also support and develop strategies that meet the specific needs of women in higher education within the state.

In the video below, Dr. Evans shares her 2021 welcome message with the New Jersey higher education community and beyond.
